It all began 7 years ago when I first started outsourcing…
Hey, Brian here and it’s about time I gave you more of the story on how OutVeo came about.
I just got so busy with running my online design studio I had no choice but to hire outside help (you might be in a similar situation yourself right now?). Frankly there were not enough hours in the day and it was causing all kinds of stress and strain. Outsourcing was the only way forwards.
The first question I had was what system shall I use to help me manage my outsourced workers?
An obvious solution to me was to just use spreadsheets…
A word to the wise… spreadsheets can quickly escalate into an organised mess if you make one mistake. It’s like building a house of cards. When one card falls, they ALL come crashing down.
When spreadsheets failed (as they did for me)…
I thought I’d have better luck with project management software…
I tried them all: Basecamp, Wrike, Smartsheet even a few you might never have heard of before. The problem was (and still is) they just don’t have the right tools to manage outsourced staff.
To save my sanity I scaled my business down and went back to doing everything myself again. Sure I didn’t make as much money or see the same level of success, at least I wasn’t working so many hours.
Then I had my biggest business breakthrough ever!
Create my own “bespoke” project management software solution that fixes all the outsourcing management problems I had.
After a lots of very long email discussions with my programmer, Michel Komarov – we formulated the software blueprint for OutVeo.

To cut a long story short…
For the first few years we kept OutVeo to ourselves to use in my own design business. Then after some great feedback from our beta testers we decided to offer it to the world as a complete project management solution designed for entrepreneurs who outsource.
When we ran a limited time launch on the Warrior Forum in September 2011 it quite literally flew off the shelves like hot cakes.
Since launching OutVeo we’ve been constantly developing and improving OutVeo. On our you can see all the updates we’ve released (and more are planned). OutVeo is by no means a done deal as we’re always getting new ideas for ways to make outsourcing even easier for you. All our clients get all updates and upgrades free for life.
